Directions:

The Alternative Food Cooperative store and main offices are located in the center of historic Wakefield, Rhode Island at 357 Main Street. It is within walking distance of over fifteen local shops and three restaurants.

From Providence:

1. Route 95 South to Exit 9 (Route 4 south-exit forks to left)
2. Route 4 feeds into Route 1 after Wickford...follow Route 1 South, past Route 138, take first Wakefield exit
3. Turn right at end of exit ramp, (Dunkin' Donuts is on left) this is Tower Hill Road, which turns into Main Street
4. Pass three stop lights...the road curves left at the Saab dealer
5. The Co-op is on the right about ten buildings down (across from Kenyon Ave.)

From Newport and Jamestown:

1. Route 138 west to Route 1
2. Follow Route 1 South and follow above directions (step 2 on)

From Hope Valley:

1. Route 138 East to Route 108
2. Turn right onto Route 108 and follow into Wakefield (past Benny's)
3. Turn right at the light onto Main Street (Mobil Station)
4. Follow Main Street south through stoplight, the road turns to left
5. The Co-op is on the right about ten buildings down (across from Kenyon Ave.)

From Westerly and Charlestown:

1. Route 1 North, past Matunuck, Jerry Brown Farm Road
2. Take the first Wakefield exit (on left)
3. Make a U turn and exit on the right, on to Post Road, which turns into Main Street
4. Follow into town, past The Larchwood Inn
5. The Co-op is on the left a block after Damon's Hardware
